The Kalgidhar Satsang Mandal organised various religious programmes to mark 352nd birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh for seven days.
Thousands of devotees from Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhatisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand attended the programmes.
The mandal took out a grand procession after puja by the guests and devotees.
Guru Granth Sahib was beautifully decorated on a chariot followed by floats of Guru Gobind Singh, Guru Nanak Dev, Guru Amardas, Guru Ramdas, Guru Harirai Saheb, Guru Hargovind Saheb, Guru Harkrishan Dev and Guru Teg Bahadur.
The devotees sprinkled milk-water on the way of the procession.
The shobhayatra started from the Mandal premises and passed through Sindhu Nagar Society, Dayananad Park Square, Kukreja Nagar, Hudco Colony, Ahuja Nagar, Bhim Chowk, Barakholi Road, Mahatma Gandhi School, Main Road, Chaudhari Chowk and main streets of Jaripatka and culminated back at the Mandal premises. People from various social organisations, educational societies welcomed the shobhayatra at various places.
Speaking on the occasion, convenor of the Mandal Adv Madhavdas Mamtani appealed to the people to follow the message of Guru Gobind Singhji of unity and harmony amongst all the religions, help the needy, and give respect to all elders.
This was the 48th year of celebration of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti by the Mandal.
Various prominent personalities including legislators Dr Milind Mane and Sunil Kedar, former minister Dr Nitin Raut, deputy mayor Deepraj Pardikar, corporator Pramila Pritam Mathrani, Jaiprakash Gupta, Ghanshyam Kukreja, Suresh Jagyasi, Prakash Totwani, Ramesh Wankhede, Adv Mukesh Sharma and others  attended the programme.
