Green Ashcon 2019 – international conference on technological conference developments in Fly Ash utilization was concluded successful. The conference saw immense participation from local students and delegates across country. Technical paper presentations on optimum and innovative use of fly ash were conducted successfully along with the technical exhibition on fly ash technology and products presentation.
Meanwhile, Union Minster for Roads and transport Shri. Nitin Gadkari extended his wishes and support to this noble cause. A team of Green Ashcon met Shri Gadkari and update him on the convention of the conference. Sudhir Paliwal, Expert Member, MS Fly ash council gave a brief update to Gadkari.
Shri Gadkari said that Our Country Needs conversion of waste into wealth.. Today we are facing major challenge of pollution among which air pollution and water pollution are big one. Particularly near to the thermal power stations we are getting fly ash, which is a big problem from ecological point of view, but today technology is available that we can use fly ash in concrete. Thirty five percent of the fly ash is already being used in cement; it could be used in construction of walls and bricks. The technology that is already invented, we can add more value to it and generate employment from it too. Thus we can tackle environmental issues too.
I appreciate the initiative taken by the association. From last many days Shri Sudhir Paliwal and his colleagues are trying best contributing to optimum use of fly ash. This is need of country and this can generate employment for large number of people. Using fly ash in construction is very important. All the innovations, new research, new successful practices presentations made during the session in due course of time will resolve the issue of environment and generate more employment. I would extend my support to initiatives taken in this filed, he added.
The team also updated about this convention to State Energy Minister Shri Chandrashekhar Bawnakule. He too has extended his support.
