The 3rd day rigorous training in CATC- 621 at Heti Sula concluded recently. The training programme included several rigorous activities. Cadets took part in this programme with utmost determination and enthusiasm.
Cadets started with physical training, yoga & aerobic soon after the dawn. Sgt Prateek Bhoyar and Sai Khadse gave demo of various yogic aasanas. Weapon drill was also conducted in camp area wherein, basic and advance training was provided to the Senior and Junior Division cadets.
A special lecture -cum- demonstration on “Life Saving Technique†and insight on “Disaster management†and fire-fighting was conducted by personnel of National Disaster Response Force Academy, Nagpur. Cadets were exhibited ways to administer first aid by Sub Instructor General P T Walhe and his team consisting of senior demonstrator R N Sethe, Field Trainers J K Sain and O P Yadav. The procedure was then practiced by the cadets as well.
A live demonstration on fire fighting with different aids was also conducted by the NDRF team. In a concluding remark they were felicitated by Camp Commandant Col Subhash Sinha and also motivated the cadets with his skills of excellence. The whole demonstration was lifetime experience for all the cadets.
The important activities with basic military training of Map reading conducted by Sub Parmeshwar Singh. Evening was occupied with games, firing and cultural programme. Cadets from senior division of Nagpur group were present.
