Rajendra Jaiswal created a world record of  “ 12 hours and 30 minutes of non-stop 80.5 km running with holding Tiranga in hand†certified by Asia Book of Record on the 70th Republic Day of India. A proud moment for all Indians, especially those gathered near Ramgiri at Civil Lines, Nagpur.
Rajendra (55), started his run on January 25(8:22 pm) to finish 80.5 kms of non-stop 12:5 hours running on January 26, 2019 (at 8:52 am) by holding the tricolour in hand.
The run was flagged off by Jyotikumar Satija, Senior Security Commandant of Railway Police. The event was supported by Orange City Runners and Miles & Milers.
Atul Chokse an ultra runner supported Rajendra by running along with him. Around 100 runners from Orange City Runners ran with him on January 26 in last leg of the run.
Rajendra, an ardent triathlete has already finished half Iron man distance at Hyderabad in 2018, number of half and full marathons during last four years, 100 km and 161 km ultra marathons, 200 and 300 km cycle brevets. He is also a podium finishers of number of ultra-marathons and Duatholons.
