Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering and Technology to organise Third Vidarbha Student Parliament on February 25. Former, Supreme Court Judge, Justice Vikas Sirpurkar will inaugurate the event at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall.
The objective of the Parliament is to give a platform and an opportunity to all those who aim to be a dynamic leader and are put forth their point of view and opinions firmly. More than 100 colleges are to participate in the said event.
Noted Marathi Film Actress, Dr Nishigandha Wad and President, Amar Seva Mandal, Nagpur, Dr Suhasini Wanjari will be the guest of honour for the event.
MPCC representative Sachin Sawant, will be the chairman and President, Swayatt Social Organisation, Vishal Muttemwar will be the co-chairman for Session I. the topic for Session I is “Is political vendetta a termite eating away nations’ progress?â€.
Session II deals with “Functional NGO and Government System: more shades of grey than black and white?†Director, Prayas Sevankur, Dr Avinash Saoji will be the chairman for session II, whereas Vidarbha Pramukh, Pani Foundation will be the co-chairman.
Spiritual Advisor, Sanjeevani Wellness, Gajanand Dada will be the chairman of Session III, which deals with “Are religious sentiments taking gradual hold of Indian Democracy?â€
Chairman for Session IV, will be International Chess Grandmaster, Abhijit Kunte and the topic of the session will be “Changing trends in Indian sportsâ€.
Secretary of Amar Seva Mandal, Nagpur, Adv Abhijit Wanjari, Treasurer, Dr Smita Wanjari, along with Directror, Wanjari Group of Institution, Dr Hemant Sonare have appealed to all the students to participate in large numbers and gain benefit from the event.
