Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology won the Inter-College Tug-of-War Championship held at DB Science College, Gondia. In all 16 teams participated in the championship.
In the final, Anjuman College blanked Shivaji Mahavidyalay, Mowad by 2 – 0 and won the title. Earlier in the semi-final, they got the better of DB Science College of Gondia 2-0. The team was coached by Dr Zakir Khan. The winning team members were Sajid Ali Sayyed Parfulla Charde, M Raza, Pratit Agnihotri, Subham Vishwakarma, Ashutosh Mishra, Prashant Wasnik Ajhar Subhedar, Tarun Eskuri, Aniket Kapse and Amankumar Shaha.
In the women section, Anjuman Girls Degree College won the title while DB Science Gondia finished runners-up.r
Court Administrator, Anjuman Hami-E-Islam,Principal District & Session Judge(Retd) Justice Bashir Ahmed Shaikh felicitated - the team members in the presence of principal Dr Akash Langde, coach Dr.Zakir S. Khan, Prof. Khwaja Izhar Ahmed, Dr.S.M.Ali and Dr. Shahbaz Khan.
