G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur is organising a two-day National Summit on Smart Solution To Smart Cities under Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Smart City on March 8 and 9th, 2019 at Swami Vivekanand Hall, GHRCE, Nagpur. The programme will commence from 9:00 am onwards followed by the registrations. The two-day summit will be inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Ravindra, Chairman smart cities India Foundation and Dr. Ramnath Sonawane, CEO Nagpur Smart City Project, Nagpur in the gracious presence of Chairman, RGI, Sunil Raisoni, and Director, GHRCE Nagpur, Dr. Preeti Bajaj.
Two day national summit will have 29 talks in 07 sessions, 04 panel discussion and workshop on iOT. The aim of this national summit is to cover maximum aspects related to smart cities. The series of the first day will carry sessions on Case study on Shanghai smart city by Prashant Mishra ,CEO Click2Cloud Inc; Innovation and Smart Sanitation by Rajiv Kher, Founder of 3S India; Smart Grid in Smart Cities by Dr. Faraz , GM PRDC; Electric Vehicle by Rahul Bagdia Director Pmanifold ; Metro Communication by Er Santosh Project Director L&T Metro Communication; e-Governance by Praful Gharpure TCS and Government and Citizen Interaction Through Smart City Interaction by Er. Chokalingam, VP and Head Operation L&T. Also, a two panel discussion on Smart City- Reality or Paper Work and Is Green Energy, Solution for Pollution Free Environment, will be held on day one.
On day two, sessions on theme Smart Transportation will be delivered by Director, imaGIS, Nagpur; Dr. Sandeep Shirkhedkar, Executive Engineer PWD, Nagpur;Er. Ramesh Hotwani, Dr. D. P. Mase, Director P. T. Mase and Associates, IEI Chairman, Nagpur; sessions on theme Environment and Grey Water Management will be delivered by Sr. Principal Scientist and Head (Air Pollution Control division), NEERI, Nagpur, Dr. Padma Rao,  and Associate Professor , Civil Engineering Department , VNIT , Nagpur, Dr. Rahul Ralegaonkar, and sessions on theme Smart Technology will be delivered by CEO Tata Power,Murlidharan , Ravinder Pal Singh, Pranav Chauhan, Dr Dilip Krishnaswamy, Vice President, Jio. Day two will also have panel discussion on Economic Overview of Metro Rail Projects and Smart Infrastructure as a Solution for Smart City
More than 150 participants shall be attending the summit. The conveners Dr. P. Y. Pawade and Dr. P. M. Daigavane have appealed to take the benefits of the sessions by galaxy of experts from academia and industry practitioners.
