Behind every successful woman is HERSELF! Little surprise then that the International Women’s Day is a celebration of womanhood in all her New Age Glory. A celebration of the long way that SHE has come. A celebration of  HER beauty, sensitivity, love, courage, grit, sacrifice and tenderness. Most importantly, it is a celebration of having HER in our lives, our families, our friendships and our society.
Very few know that the International Women’s Day was first mooted in 1911 to honor women’s rights and to build support for achieving their right to vote and to hold public office, right to work, to vocational training and putting an end to discrimination in jobs. During International Women’s Year in 1975, the United Nations began celebrating International Women’s Day on  March 8. Since then, women have walked a long way and the year 2019 is celebrating this International Women’s Day with the theme – “Think Equal, Build Smart, and Innovate for Changeâ€.
We, at Live Nagpur, believe in this the me and therefore, invite you today to join us in raising a toast to the success, initiative and vision of some of the women from our very own city who have made us proud.
