Four unidentified masked miscreants robbed off an employee of cash collection agency with cash of 24 lakh on knife point, at Dahegaon (Rangari) under the jurisdiction of Khaparkheda police station on Monday. The incident occurred at around 3 pm.
According to police, Roshan Tagde, an employee of Radian Cash Management, a cash collection agency appointed by Bank of India, Mankapur was heading towards the bank from a petrol pump at Dahegaon on Nagpur-Chhindwara Road with the collection amount of Rs 24 lakh in his bag.  He was moving wrong side and when he reached at a crossing to cross the road, two youths already standing there, stopped him. They put knife on his throat, snatched the bag and pushed him. As a result Roshan fell on the ground. On the other side of the road, two other youths were already waiting on a white coloured Activa and a red coloured Pulsar. Both the vehicles had no registration numbers. The foursome then taking the money with them fled towards Nagpur.
A dhaba owner named Dixit chased the quartet on his two wheeler till Koradi. He however, could not catch hold of them. On getting information, Police Inspector Madne along with his team reached the spot and affected nakabandi. The city and rural police were also informed about the incident. Till filing of this report, no arrest could be made and police were busy in getting more details of the robbers and chalking out strategy to nab the culprits.
