‘Seher Hone Tak’ a celebration of Urdu poetry was organised by Moment Crafters on Saturday at Chitnavis Centre. The programme witnessed some of the amazing Nazms and shayaris by three renowned ladies, Neerja Apte, Aboli Thatte and Gayatri Dhavale.
The event was the brainchild of Neerja Apte who conceived and scripted the event. She did a fantastic job and brought a one of its kind experience for the viewers. Aboli Thatte, who performed kathak and Gayatri Dhavale, a classical vocalist mesmerised the audience with her melodies.
The three women took the stage by storm with their beauty, expressions and melodies. The audience was enthralled with the fine Urdu poems, nazms and ghazals, along with a superb kathak dance performance and melodies of Gayatri, was a cherry on the cake.
‘Bigdi Baat Banana Mushkil, Bigdi Baat Banaye Kaun;’ Tutti hai need meri magar tumko iss se kya’, Chandani Raat me kuch Fike Sitaaro ki Tarah’;Kuch Din se zindagi mujhe pehchanati nahi’; Yu dekhti hai jaise mujhe janati nahi’ were some of the poetries recited at the event.
Kavita Bakre and Sayli Deshpande worked hard for the success of the event.
