Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) will be accepting the electricity bill payments on government holidays and Sundays too in the month of March, informs a press release issued by MSEDCL. For the purpose, 76 bill collection centres in Nagpur district and 17 in Wardha district will remain open, says the press release.
The government offices will remain closed on March 23 being fourth Saturday and there will be a routine holiday on Sunday. However, these days being March end, MSEDCL has decided to keep its bill collection centres open. Similarly, the centres will be open on March 31 too, the last day of the financial year, the MSEDCL press release says.
According to information given by MSEDCL, one bill collection centre in each sub-division of Nagpur division, which makes total 18 bill collection centres in Nagpur district, will remain open. Moreover, arrangements have been made at 56 credit co-operative societies operating in rural areas of the district, the MSEDCL, press release says.
Similarly, five centres each in Arvi and Hinganghat divisions in addition to seven in Wardha division thus making a total of 17 bill collection centres would remain open in Wardha district on Saturday, Sunday and on March 31, says the MSEDCL press release.
