International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in association with International Vedic Cultural Center, IVCC had organised an installation ceremony of Anantshesh Mahotsav along with Gaur Purnima Maha Mahotsav at Lotus Temple, Emperian Township, Mihan.
The ruby studded silver anantshesh was installed in a pit, which is 6 feet deep by the hands of Srila Loknath Swami Maharaj, which was followed by abhishek of anantshesh with different articles and flowers milk, curd, ghee, sugar, honey, fruit juice and flowers.
A havan was also organised in which, Nilambar Das, from Iskcon Juhu Mumbai was the chief Acharya. Along with Loknath Swami Maharaj, Haripad Das, Falini Devi Dasi, Gaursundar Das, Eklavya Das and Siddarth Saraf, Archana Saraf, Partha Das, Krishna Kummari Devi Dasi, Krishna Karuna Das, Vrndavani Devi Dasi, Ananya bhakt Das, Sadhana Bhakti Devi Dasi, Rajesh Motghare, Smt. Shilpa Motghare, Radha Madanagopal Das, Parmatma Das, Abhay Gaurang Das, Param Karuna Das, Vishal Das, Nand Kishore Das, Venu Gopal Das, Karpankaj Das, Rishabhdev Das, Kapil Gupta and others offered aahutis in the havan.
Spokesperson, of ISKCON Dr Shyamsunder Sharma informed, H.G. Hairpad Das and H.G. Falini Devi Dasi inaugurated the Gaur Poornima Utsav with chanting of Hare Krishna, Maha Mantra. Dharampal Agrawal, Virendra Kumar Agrawal, Seema Agrawal, Suni Agrawal and Siddharth Saraf and Archana Saraf were the chief guests, whereas, Manish Trivedi, Pratik Trivedi and Ramesh Shivhare were the guests of honours of the event.
Lokanath Swami Maharaj, commenced his address with a bhajan of ‘Jai Sachidanand, Jai Sachidanand, Jai Sachidanand, Gaur Hari’. Maharaj said that when Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in Navadvip Mandal, Mayapur, after receiving a variety of gifts from Mrs. Sitarani Thakurain, the wife of Advaita Acharya from Shantipur and others, then Gaurang Mahaprabhu given return gift of “Harinam” to everyone.
Maharaj further said there is no difference between Lord Shri Krishna and his name. “Amanitwa nam namino”
He said this Hariman is not of this world, it has passed from Gaulok Dham. “Goloker Prem Dhan, Hari Nama Sankirtan” “When Harinam is recited, then Harimana dances and the soul dances” Nam Nache, Jiva nache, nache premdhan ”
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu gave the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and taught himself by his own conduct how to do devotion.
Along with Lokanath Maharaj others performed a abhishek of Gaurang Mahaprabhu with milk, curd, ghee, sugar, honey, fruit juice and flowers. After the idol of Gaurnitai was beautifully decorated the 56 Bhog were offered. The event concluded with the chants of ‘Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare,’. Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Hare., and a 56 Bhog was offered and distributed among the devotees with Mahaprasad.
