Vidarbha’s poor show continued as they suffered nine-wicket defeat at the hands of Himachal Pradesh in women Under-23 One Day League at VCA Civil Lines stadium on Sunday.
Batting first Vidarbha were bowled out for 51 in 30.3 overs. Their innings collapsed like a pack of cards. Only skipper Disha Kasat (10) managed to cross the double digit. Latika Inamdar and Vaishnavi Khandkar scored nine each.
For Himachal Sushmita Kumari claimed four wickets for just five runs. VS Fishta too bowled well and captured two.
In reply Himachal achieved the target losing just one wicket in 17.1 overs. SM Singh played an unbeaten knock of 37 whereas Harleen Deol contributed 14.
