JCI Nagpur Medico had organized a training programme ‘Hospitality in Hospitals’ for nursing and ancillary staff of Hospitals, on March 24, at Hotel KP Inn, Ajni from 8.30 am to 11.30 am.
The famous, trainers of trainer of JCI India Dr. Suresh Chari was faculty for this programme. Dr. Suresh Chari is working as Director of MET and research at NKP SIMS and RC. Dr Chari informed that communication and soft skills should be incorporated in nursing and paramedical staff, as they are the ones who are in contact with patients and relatives on day to day basis. Their training could facilitate great bonding with patients and relatives.
Dr. Chari imparted training to participant in simple language using role plays and theater of oppressed teaching technology. JCI Nagpur Medico is working on theme of bridging the Gap, hence imparting such training will certainly decrease doctor and society rift and will help to reduce violence against doctors.
President JCI Dr. Smita Pakhmode extended her gratitude towards, Rahate surgical Hospital ICU, Skin care clinic, Shembekar Hospitals Pvt Ltd., Charade child clinic, Belasare child hospitals, Quality Dialysis Nagpur pvt Ltd, Prism Eye and Heart Clinic, Kiran Pathology Lab, Care Hospital, Nucleus Hospital, Kalamkar Dental Clinic, Nectar Hospital, Sayali Children Hospital, High Tech Skin Clinic, Baheti Hospital and Keshav Hospitals for attending the training programme in large numbers.
The event got such an overwhelming response that the organizers of the event had to close the registration window within 4 days of the announcement and had to restrict the entry of 5 participants per hospitals. Former President and Zone Director, JCI Nagpur Medico, Dr. Piyush Kherde worked hard for the success of the programme.
Total 60 participants from different hospitals attended the programme. The event was followed by Brunch for all participants.
President IMA Dr. Ashish Disawal was present at the concluding ceremony. Office bearers of JCI Nagpur Medico Jc. Dr. Jasmeet Chandhok, Jc. Dr. Vartika Patil, Jc. Dr. Swati Sarda and Jc Dr. Manju Chandankhede were prominently present at the programme.
