A few days after FIR were registered against BJP MLA from Arni Raju Todsam’s second wife Priya under atrocity act, police have now booked the MLA’s first wife Archana Todsam and nine others under various sections of the IPC. Police said that offences were registered against 10 people including Todsam’s first wife under charges of molestation and attack on the basis of complaint lodged by Priya.
Those booked included Archana Todsam, Manish Ramgirwar, Ganesh Ghodam, Akshay Nawade, Rupesh Chaudhary, Akash alias Monu Kanake, Nagorao Gedam, Jhila Gedam, Ranjit Chavan, Mahendra Karnekar. Cops registered offences under sections 394, 354 (B), 500, 504, 506, 294, 323, 341, 143, 147,149, 279, 337, 323 of the IPC against them.
Priya had alleged that police registered FIR against her under pressure. She had also accused police of not taking action on her complaint. It is learnt that Raju Todsam is now living with his first wife and their children in Pandharkawada while Priya is staying with her parents.
