The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Paper I of JEE Main April 2019 on Monday. Around 1500 students appeared in the exam online in Nagpur. The exam ended peacefully with any report of irregularity.
According to information provided by exam centres, over 27000 students appeared for this exam in Nagpur division, which was conducted twice a year for the first time. The first paper was conducted in January. Number of students taking the exam in April was higher than previous session. In Nagpur district 12000 students are taking this exam.
According to students, there were no changes in the pattern of Paper -1 of JEE (Main) compared to previous years or January session. The questions covered almost all chapters from the three subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The spread of questions was from almost all chapters from Class 9 and Class 12.
The toughest section in both the shifts was Physics. Mathematics and chemistry were of moderate level. The exam was divided into three parts – physics, chemistry and mathematics. Each part had 30 questions.
All questions were of multiple choice with single correct answer objective type.
Students said Physics was tougher as compared to Mathematics and Chemistry.
The easiest section was Chemistry as expected by students. Students told that few questions in JEE Main Chemistry Paper 2019 were taken directly from CBSE Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT books.
