Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is providing free water tankers to the areas in the city suffering from shortage of water.
Meanwhile, under the AMRUT Yojna, construction work of water tanks and taps is in under progress. Also, construction of water tank is under way in Hudkeshwar and Narsala area.
The NMC claimed that once the work is completed the water issue in Sadar and other areas will be solved.
NMC has also informed the public that the water tank installation work and service is completely free. However, it has been observed that the tanker driver is demanding money for the service in some area.
In such case, the NMC has requested public to file a complaint to the Zonal officer. The NMC will make sure that required action is taken on the culprit.
