SNG boys and girls teams enter semi-finals
Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) boys and girls teams made it to the  semi-finals in the ongoing Inter-club Youth  Basketball Championship organised by Nagpur District Basketball Association (NDBA) at Surendra Nagar court, here on Saturday.
In the girls section, SNG drubbed host  NASA 48-14. Thanks to Siya Deodhar and Shomira Bidaye who scored 12 baskets each. Along with SNG, Vision Academy, Dharampeth Krida Mandal (DKM) and Nutan Bharat Yuvak Sangh (NBYS) too entered the semis.
SNG boys recorded 54-16 victory over Vision Academy to enter the semis. Adwait Jagtap (13) and Krishnal Agrawal (12) were the architects of victory. However SNG ‘B’ team lost to Phoenix 27-40. PKM, NBYS also entered the semis.

Boys:  Phoenix (Tanuj Gurmule 16, Rahul Nagulwar 14) bt SNG-B (Omkar Gade 9) 40-27 (10-10, 6-2, 11-11, 12-4); PKM (Vedant Shudrik 14,Sarang Umate 11) bt PLSC (Mohit Wat 12, Pratahm Patil 11) 51-38 (11-9,11-14,13-5,16-10); NBYS (Taaran Kakad and Pratham Gupta 15 each) bt CPS (Manan Singh 14, Ishan Sanghani 12) 54-41 (19-14,12-8,8-8,15-11); SNG (Adwait Jagtap 13.
