Nagpur: The ongoing road construction work in the city often leads fatal to people while trying to dodge the pits and pot holes on the road.
In one such incident, a 47-year-old man identified as Prashant Dharmaji Sonatkke died near the telephone exchange square on Monday.
The telephone exchange square area is being dig up to place the BSNL cable. Prashant, who work as a food delivery man in Zomato, fell on the road after his two wheeler slipped. Meanwhile, a speeding vehicle coming from behind crushed Prashant’s head killing him on the spot.
The police were informed about the incident, who took the body to the hospital. Police have filed an FIR against the accused driver.
