Dr Anshuja Kimmatkar has created a world record of making 502 greeting cards in 24 hours. Dr Anshuja is a resident of Ramtek and posses the following degrees BAMS, MD, PGDMC, ACMCH and Master in Psycho Therapy.
Dr Kimmatkar informed that she is making greeting cards since she was of 18 years and has continued her hobby till date. She tries to make greeting cards with small and basic things like buttons, chocolate wrappers, needles, broken mirrors, wedding cards, and all those things that are easily available at anyone’s house.
Dr Kimmatkar commenced her record on April 19, at 8 am and completed her target of preparing 502 attractive greeting cards on April 20 at 8 am, at Dr SB Warnekar Hall of Kavi Kuluguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek.
World Record officials appreciated her efforts and registered her name in the list of World Records. President of World Record of India, Pawan Solanki felicitated her with a certificate. Â She was also felicitated by local organization for her achievements.
An exhibition was also organised after the record was registered for the spectators. Dr Anshuja gave the credit of her success to her parents, husband and mother in law.
President of Maharashtra Khanji Vikas Mahamandal Adv, Ashish Jaiswal, MLA Parinay Fuke, Writer/ Director/ Actor, Ankush Thakur, President of Rotary Club, Nagpur, Pravin Dahake and President Dilip Deshmukh, along with Corporation Member, Parinita Fuke, Representative of KKSU, Deepak Kapde, and Principal Vikay Barse were prominently present at the occasion.
