Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass’ skillful Martial Artist, Sarah Farooqui brought laurels to the School by clinching the Silver medal at the 64th SGFI SQAY Martial Arts National Championship, 2018-19 held at Ludhiana, Punjab. Organised   by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and conducted by the Punjab Government Education Department, this event hosted 14 participants from all over India, representing their respective states.
In the final round of the tournament, the team of Maharashtra represented by Sarah was up against the team of Punjab. Sarah’s score card read impressive 36 points out of 40 which helped her claim the Silver medal and a certificate for the same. Apart from the regular rigorous training, Sarah also attended a 6- day training camp held in   Aurangabad to chisel her skills for the upcoming event.
Sarah expressed her gratitude towards the school for the support and training provided .Her achievement was applauded by her coach Mr. Mehboob  Ansari, who was all praises for her. Principal, Mrs. Radhika Mehra, Vice-Principals, Mrs. Perveen Cassad and Mrs. Anita Sharma and the entire CPS family congratulated her on her glorious achievement.
