Recently a workshop for Post office employees had been organized by Nagpur Post Office to review various services and schemes being provided to the people of the urban division. The best performing employees of the last financial year were felicitated in the workshop.
In this workshop, Post Master general of the Nagpur division, Ramchandra Jaybhaye spoke on the importance of various schemes and its need to reach out to the people. Postal Director of Nagpur Zone Pawankumar Dalmiya praised the work done by slum area volunteers, helpers, Asha workers, and anganwadi workers in urban area.
The program was attended by Mr. Patki and Mr. Khade of Nagpur division, and Abhijit Jibhkate of India Post Payment Bank, Nagpur Branch. The postal staff of the Nagpur division actively participated in the work done during the last financial year and also took advantage of this workshop for planning the work to be done in the current financial year.
While addressing, Head of Nagpur Post Office, Vasundhara Gulhane said, the department aims to provide the best service to the urban population with the help of upgraded technology and also hopes to attain the top position.
To get acquainted with the scheme ‘Sukanya Samrudhi Yojna’, the department organized all Sevaks’ workshops in Nagpur city division and all information related to this scheme was effectively presented to them.
Department had also organized a special campaign to attract maximum registrations under ‘Sukanya Samrudhi Yojna’ by Anganwadi workers.
The programme was conducted by Assistant Postal Superintendent Vilas Bhoge while Assistant Posts Superintendent Sujit Kumar Lude presented the vote of thanks. All the postal workers worked hard for the success of the program.
