Kashish Bhagat of Shakuntala Sports Foundation and Ayush Sohaliya of Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School were awarded as best campers in the girls and boys sections respectively in the athletics camp organised by Shakuntala Sports Foundation at Wanadongri.
More than 250 budding athletes participated in the camp. NDAA president LR Malviya presided over the function Taluka sports officr Pawan Meshram, Rajesh Shahakar, principal Dharmendra Parshivnikar, Dr Ishwar Kohale, Devidas Lambat and others were present on the occasion.
Commonwealth and Asian Games medal winner Ritesh Anand honoured the athletes. Principal of PWS College Dr Yeshwant Patil felicitated coaches Rahul Kalbande, Sipin Singh, Varsha Khangar, Devidas Lambat, Akash Mate, Shubham Choudhary, Shailesh Zalke, Nitin bhandari.
Principal of Anusuchit Jati va Navbouddha Girls Government School, Hingna honoured those who excelled in various events in the camp. They were Guru Wanikar and Sanvedana Lokhande (fartlek training), Nishant Goutre and Sanskruti Prajapati (sports drawing), Suyash Motghare and Anushka Kedar (meditation), Rajat Patil and Wanshika Raut (aerobics), Koushal Warkar and Rimanshi Prajapati (cool down with yoga), Ayush Sohaliya and Sanika Thakre (power exercise), Shivam Wadhai and Soumya Khangar (circuit training), Wansh Pund and Chaturya Dehare (leadup games), Samarth Mankar and Swapnita Aware (exercises), Aparna Sahare and Purva Barai (power yoga), Dnyandeep Pund, Mugdha Khandar (stretching exercise), Soham Bankar, Kashish Bhagat , Khushal Abagad, Ekta Sahare (Russian Drill), Jay Prajapati, Rohini Durbude (middle distance running), Amar Senad Gunjan Khangar (baseball), Kunal Bisen, Aishwarya Badekar (zumba) and Sahil Gajbhiye, Pratiksha Lange (core exercise), NDAA secretary Dr Sharad Suryavanshi made introductory remarks whereas Ramchandra Wani conducted the proceedings.
