The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced a temporary power shutdown on the 11 kV Diamond Nagar feeder under the Shrikrishna Nagar Distribution Centre on Tuesday, July 21, to carry out urgent maintenance and safety-related works.
The scheduled maintenance includes servicing the 11 kV AB switch and trimming tree branches along the feeder route to ensure uninterrupted and safe electricity supply, particularly during the monsoon season.
As a result, power supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 11:30 am in Gadge Baba Nagar, Diamond Nagar, Sahakar Nagar, Kamgar Nagar, and adjoining areas.
MSEDCL said electricity supply will be restored immediately after the completion of the maintenance work. The utility stated that the preventive maintenance will help reduce power interruptions during the rainy season and improve the overall reliability and safety of the power distribution network.
