Nagpur girls retained the title in Inter-District Basketball Tournament organised under the guidance of Basketball Federation of India (BFI) at Satara on Monday.
In the final, Nagpur girls got the better of Pune 59-35 in a one-sided affair. Thanks to Shomira Bidaye who single handedly scored 26 points. Earlier in the semis, Nagpur downed Mumbai north 65-48.
However Nagpur boys finished fourth as they lost to Pune 37-64 in a hardline final.

Third place: Pune (Rajendra S 22) bt Nagpur (Krishnal Agrawal 12, Tanuk Gurnule 10, Advait Jagtap 5, Taaran Kakkad 3) 64-37 (12-18, 18-6, 13-7, 21-6).
