Gittikhadan police arrested a 31-year-old man for sexually exploiting a 21-year-old girl between June 16, 2018 and February 13, this year.
Cops have booked ccused identified as Mithun Kailas Ukey (31) a resident of Amedkar Nagar, Rambai Square, Wadi has been under Sections 376(2) (N), 506 of the IPC and put him behind the bars.
According to the police sources, on June 16, last year the accused Mithun went to the 21-year-old girl’s house under the jurisdiction of Gittikhadan police when the survivor was alone. The accused then reportedly asked her for the glass of water. Soon as she went to kitchen accused grabbed her from behind.
However when she resisted, the accused threatened her of dire consequences and raped her. Thereafter, the accused Mithun started sexually exploited on the regular basis between June 2018 and February 2019. When the girl insisted Mithun to marry her he started avoiding her calls and texts. Sensing something amiss, then survivor approached Gittikhadan police station and filed a complaint.
Trickster poses as CIF officer duped woman of Rs 31K in Pratap Nagar
A middle aged woman was duped of Rs 31,000 by a trickster who identified himself as senior officer in CIF office in Delhi on the pretext of paying CPF dues of her late husband.
As per police sources, Seema Praful Khankhoje (52) a resident of Plot. No. A 304, Gawande Layout, Sneh Nagar received a call from an unknown number on April 24 this year. the caller identified himself as Mahi Sharma, a senior officer in CIF Office in New Delhi. The conmon told Seema that CPF dues of Rs 3.31 lakh of her late husband are pending. Reading this, Semma have to clear the income tax dues Rs 31,000.
Sharma further told Seema that the amount will have to be transferred to a bank account through NEFT. The accused gave her his own account number in which Seema transferred the said amount through NEFT. However, Seema soon realized she has been duped by the bogus officer and registered a case with Pratap Nagar police.
Cops rescue Rajisthan based minor girl pushed in flesh trade Â
Lakadganj police on Monday, conducted a raid in Ganga Jamuna area and rescued a minor girl, kidnapped from Rajisthan and pushed into flesh trade. A woman pimp has been arrested and two other women have been booked for abetting the crime.
Following a tip-off from Joy Masin of an NGO Freedom Firm that minor girls are being pushed into prostitution in Ganga Jamuna area. Subsequently, a team of cops raided brothel of accused Maltibai Naranga Karmavat (48) and found minor girl abducted from Rajisthan.
Along with accused Malti, Lajjabai and Savitribai have been booked regarding this connection under the relevant Sections of the IPC.
BJP district vice-president Sontakke injured in car mishap
D D Sontakke, President, Dhobi Samaz Mahasang and Vice-President Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Nagpur district was injured as an Innova car he was travelling in met with a mishap between Karnja Lad and Kherda village road in the early hours of Tuesday.
Other office bearers of Dhobi Samaz Mahasang also sustained injuries during the accident. Rukesh Motikar, Bhayyaji Rohankar and Pundalik Motikar were reportedly injured in the incident.
Somtakke had gone to Nashik on Monday to attend a programme. On his way to Nagpur, the vehicle met with a mishap between Karnja Lad and Kherda village road at around 5.30am.
Fortunately no causalities were reported in the incident.
Kamptee police rescues 37 bovines, one arrested Â
Kamptee police on Tuesday rescued 37 bovines who were being taken to a slaughter house and seized a Xenon pick-up van collectively worth Rs 3.5 lakh.
Cops have arrested accused Mohd. Sarik Mohd. Aslam (26) a resident of Bhajimandi regarding this connection whereas accused Wasim Qureshi, Liyaz Qureshi and Imran Qureshi are absconding.
During the night patrolling, cops received a tip-off, that total 37 bovines who were being taken to a slaughter house was kept near Muslim Kabristan in Gautam Nagar, Ajani Shiwar. Subsequently, the sleuths of DB squad raided the spot at around 4 am on Tuesday morning and rescued all bovines.
Under the supervision of Harsh Poddar, DCP Zone 5 and Rajesh Pardeshi, ACP, the raid was conducted by PSI Jitendra Raut, Constables Dilip Kumre, Rupesh Durge, Manoj, Rahul and Krishna.
