A two day multidisciplinary National Workshop On “Relevance of IPR in the Present Academic Scenario†was organised, recently at Dayanand Arya Kanya Mahavidyalya. The workshop was organised in collaboration with nine colleges of Nagpur, namely, Yashoda Girl’s Arts and Commerce College,  Renuka College, Principal Annarao Kalode Mahavidyalya , Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede Arts and Commerce College, Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede Mahavidyalya, along with Dr. M. K. Umathe College, Women’s College of Arts and Commerce and Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work. This mega collaboration created history in Nagpur University’s Academic Arena.
The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by the chief guest Dr. Bababrao Taywade, Ex-Principal, Dhanwate National College, Dr. Prabhuji Deshpande, Ex- President, Vidyapeeth Shikshan Manch, Nagpur, along with Dr Pankaj Borkar, Dy. Controller of RGNIIPM, Arya Vidya Sabha Members and Principals of all the participating colleges.
The chief guest Dr. Babanrao Taywade expressed his views on IPR and stressed its importance in academic field. Ex-President, Vidyapeeth Shikshan Manch, Dr Prabhuji Deshpande, spoke on use of IPR in social and academic content.
Dr. Pankaj Borkar spoke on patent of designs, research work, trademark and its relevance in academic section. Â Ashokkumar Kriplani president of Arya Vidya Sabha expressed his views on the workshop and appreciated the mega collaboration of the college workshop.
Dr. Vandana Khushalani, Ex-Principal of the college proposed vote of thanks.
Principal Dr. Shraddha Anilkumar Naidu worked tirelessly by creating a mega cluster of colleges in history of RTMNU academic arena.
The IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. Monali Masih, Co-ordinator of the workshop Dr. Mugdha Deshpande, Co-coordinator Prof. Parineeta Harkare, Dr. Chetna Pathak, teaching and non-teaching staff contributed worked hard for the success of the workshop.
