Students of Bhavan’s B.P. Vidya Mandir, Ashti who excelled in academic and co-curricular activities for the academic year (2018-19) were congratulated by the management of the school, Principal Vandana Bisen and the staff members.
The sixth batch of Std XII of Bhavan’s B.P. Vidya Mandir, Ashti appeared for AISSCE-2019. A total number of 75 students appeared in the examination (29- Science and 46 Commerce) with 100% result.
Ojus Jaiswal emerged on the top spot from science stream with 95.60% aggregate, scoring 95 in Physics, 95 in Chemistry, 95 in Maths, 99 in Computer Science and 94 in English. He participated in Inter-House Tug-of-War event and bagged the 1st prize. He was the Ambassador for Spoken English. He loves to read books and listen to music.
Yash Yenurkar and Kunal Chaturvedi shared the second position with 89% aggregate. Yash Yenurkar scored 92 in Physics, 85 in chemistry, 77 in Maths, 97 in Computer Science and 94 in English. He won the 3rd prize in IISER, Pune, 2nd prize in Jindal Science Exhibition. Kunal Chaturvedi scored 91 in Physics, 79 in Chemistry, 88 in Maths, 91 in Computer Science and 96 in English. He worked as the Ambassador for the spoken English in the session 2018-19. (He enjoys listening to music and making graphics designs.)
Ruchi Mane bagged the third position with 83.4% aggregate, scoring 80 in Physics, 78 in chemistry, 77 in Maths, 88 in Biology and 94 in English. She won the 1st prize in footprints cover page contest.
Atharva Pingle topped the commerce stream with 94.8% scoring 95 in English, 96 in Economics, 92 in Business studies, , 94 in Accountancy and 96 in Physical Education. Atharva is a well-mannered and silent boy.
Joel Joseph bagged the second position in Commerce stream with 93.4% scoring 93 in English, 95 in Economics, 95 in Business studies, 86 in Accountancy and 98 in Information Practices. Joel won the Gold medal in Photography at International Environment Olympiad Lucknow 2017-18. He has also worked as co-organizer and HOD (Photography and Videography) for RED X Nagpur 2018-19. Joel is a hard worker and a dynamic child.
Shramiddha Shrivastava scored 92.8% and stood third in the merit list of the school. She scored 93 in English, 97 in Economics, 92 in Business studies, 85 in Accountancy and 97 in Physical Education. She was selected for Kathak National Workshop for creative writing for two consecutive years. She won the grand Prize in Poetry writing and Young Reader-Leader award.
