New English boys and Youth Sporting Katol girls triumphed in under-14 category in the District-level Volleyball Tournament organised by Samarth Vyayam Shala in associaiton with Nagpur District Volleyball Association at Pratap Nagar here on Sunday.
In the boys final, New English recorded an exciting 25-23, 25-22 victory over Raghuji Nagar Krida Mandal. Earlier in the semis, New English quelled the spirited challenge of Star Boys Narkhed 25-15, 19-25, 15-10 in three set thrillers. In the second semi-final, Raghinagar Krida Mandal downed host Samarth Vyayam Shala 25-22, 12-25, 15-13. In the girl’s final, Youth Sporting stunned Samarth Vyayam Shala 25-19, 25-22. Earlier on Saturday night Youth Sporting won undeer-18 boys title defeating Samarth 25-23, 22-25, 26-24.
