Titan defeated host Shakti Club ‘A’ 3-1 to win the title in Summer League Team Table Tennis Championship organised by Nagpur District Table Tennis Association on Monday.
Titan had a shaky start as Jui Pendharkar lost to experienced Kaustubh Udar 7011, 3-11, 2-11. However in the next game, Aadi Chitnis restored parity defeating Jayesh Kulkarni 13-11, 11-4, 11-4. In the third game Jennifer Verghese gave 2-1 lead to Titan when she overcame Sarvesh Patil 11-2, 11-7, 11-4. In the reverse single, Aadi Chitnis quelled the spirited challenge of Udar 11-5, 11-13, 11-2, 9-11, 11-5.
The prizes were distributed at the hands of NDTTA secretary Adv.Ashutosh Potnis. Himanshu kale, Mangesh Mopkar ,Vijay Naik,  and  Deepak Kanetkar were also present on the occasion.
