The sleuths of the Pachpaoli police on Sunday nabbed a 28-year-old Sharif Khan Sher Khan, a resident of Mominpura under Commissioner of Police Dr Bhushankumar Upadhyay’s ambitious drive ‘Operation Wash Out’. Cops have detained accused Sharif for illegal possession of sword and creating ruckus near Motibagh School.
According to police, the sleuths of Pachpaoli police were patrolling on Sunday evening when they noticed accused Sharif with sword in his hand. Sharif was creating ruckus near Motibagh School. Following which the cobs immediately detained him and seized his active vehicle and sword collectively worth Rs 55,000.
It is likely to note that, Commissioner of Police have launched a special drive between June 6 and June 14. The eight days long drive will primarily focus on accused with illegal possession of weapons, illegal hooch dens, prostitutions etc.
