Dr Ambedkar Cricket Academy (DACA) defeated Kavre Guruji Sports Institute (KGSI) by 33 runs to storm into the final of inter camp cricket tournament organised by Reshimbagh Cricket Club here on Sunday.
Batting first, Dr Ambedkar Cricket Academy batted first after winning the toss and scored 107 runs in 15 overs. Tejas Kumbhare was the pick of the batsmen. He played aggressively right from the start and scored runs all over the park. Tejas scored a superb 65 to help his team pile up a strong total. He also struck 14 boundaries in his scintillating knock.
Vijay Agnihotri and Digvijay Tiwari also chipped in with valuable innings as Dr Ambedkar College Academy scored 107 runs and gave a challenging target to the opponents.
Kavre Guruji Sports Institute needed a solid start to chase the total. But this was not the case. They lost wickets at regular intervals and were eventually bundled out for just 74 runs. Barring Sarthak Chaudhary none of the Kavre Guruji Sports Institute were able to resist the bowlers.
