In a shameful incident, 30 students from the Backward category were allegedly removed by the Zila Parishad Primary School Principal in Rotha village, Wardha.
These 30 students who belong to Pardhi community migrated to Wardha for education as a part of private project then by the Director of NGO Umedh Mangeshi Moon.
When Moon asked about the matter, the School Principal Vivek Mahakalkar who removed all the 30 students from did not gave satisfactory reply to him.
According to government’s rule, a student leaving the school should be given a Transfer Certificate (TC) and Leaving Certificate. However, the 30 students were removed from the School without any prior notice or leaving certificate.
On Friday, all the 30 students reached Zila Parishad office, to protest against the injustice. The ZP Education Officer, Valmik Ingole, assured the students and Moon that all the students will be readmitted soon.
ZP CEO Ajay Ombase said “A probe panel led by Education extension Officer will be formed to investigate in to the matter, adding that appropriate action will be taken against the guilty.
