Last year’s runners-up Jharkhand along with Assam and Jammu and Kashmir were leading in the s category in 17th Senior National Woodball Championship jointly organised by Woodball Association of India and Maharashtra Woodball Association at RTM Nagpur University playground, here on Monday.
On the second day of the championship, Jharkhand took the lead with 264 points followed by Assam (273) and Jammu and Kashmir (276). Bihar (296) and Maharashtra (308) were at fourth and fifth place respectively.
Meanwhile, women team event matches were played on Monday evening session. The singles event in both categories will start on Tuesday.
