Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) will be soon laying 2.5 km long Low Tension (LT) Line for its consumers in Khapri area. The decision was taken after various issues were raised by the residents in Samvad Melava of MSEDCL of Khapri Branch.
Meanwhile a large number of applications have been received by MESDCL’s Khapri office from Velahari, Rui, Jamtha, Shankarpur and Vadoda for new power connections, as urban settlements started to increase in the area. The applications are pending with MSEDCL due to lack of the proper power network.
Additional Executive Engineer Sunil Fadanvis, Assistant Engineer Nilesh Ashtankar and other concerned officials took a survey of the area before submitting an estimated budget required for the LT line.
Also a grievance redressal camp will be organised for electricity consumers at Wadi in Hoodkeswar subdivision of MSEDCL on July 30 and 31. Power Consumer Complaints will be accepted from 12 pm to 3 pm, as per the press release.
