The NSS unit of Zulekha College organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with LifeLine Blood Bank. The camp began at 9.00 a.m. with a short inaugural function. Dr. Harish Warbhe and his team members were given a floral welcome. He expressed his gratitude to the NSS unit of the college for its continuous endeavor in this regard. He also stressed on the growing need of blood in the state and commended the young volunteers for their noble act. Blood Donation is an important and foremost sense of duty of every human being which saves the life of many humans who need it in an urgent situation.
Dr. Harish Warbhe from LifeLine Blood Bank promoted and encouraged to all students not only for Blood Donation but also for Thalassemia awareness. A Certificate of appreciation, gift, and refreshment were given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
All student, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff, gave an excellent response to the Blood Donation Camp. It was a pleasure to work for such a noble cause and serve humanity to all of us on that day and the Camp was successfully accomplished with everyone’s support. The event gain success under the guidance of Mr. Inderjeet Ramteke (Management).
The blood donation camp was coordinated by HOD Mrs. Rita Bhaisare, Asst. Prof Yogesh Ingle and Asst. Prof Ashish Ingale N.S.S co-ordinator of the college.
