The ongoing festival of Shravan Somwar is being celebrated with great spirituality and zeal by the devotees of Lord Shiva in the city in different ways and traditions. On the occasion, Shri Nagpur Gujarti Brahm Samaj Mahila Mandal also celebrated this month of Shravan with a mass abhishek of the shivaling.
All the ladies were mesmerized with the spiritual atmosphere that surrounded them during the abhishek. They also offered flowers, bel patra and fruit. Abhishek was followed by various bhajan of the lord Shiva.
President Kirti Joshi and Heena Joshi worked hard for the success of the programme. While Hema Mehta took the responsibility of arranging all the necessary items needed for the abhishek.
Kiran Dave, Nita Shukla, Volga Thakar, Trupati Joshi, Rajshree Bhatt, Geeta Mehta, Meenakshi Joshi were prominently present at the occasion.
