The consumer forum has issued a notice to a renowned real estate firm over a plea filed by one of its customers, who has alleged that the firm failed to deliver the promises it had made while selling the flat.
A complaint has been lodged against the Gold Bricks Infrastructure Company in the National Customer Grievance Redressal Commission. The complainant, Kishore Agarwal claimed that he has bought a flat in the real estate company’s Anandam World City scheme.
In the information brochure, the company had assured that there will be 27 miscellaneous facilities like a swimming pool, clubhouse, etc. He bought the flat in the scheme as he was satisfied with the amenities promised.
However, even after paying more than 90 percent of the flat amount, the promised facilities were not provided. He also sent a legal notice to the company on June 12, 2018, and expressed readiness to pay ₹8,92,347 to get possession of the flat.
Agrawal claimed that the company is illegally seeking advance money for various reasons. The Commission has admitted the complaint about hearing and issued a notice to the real estate firm seeking its reply.
