Budding Aashi Dalal emerged winner in  Indumati Korke  One Day Rapid Chess Tournament for women that were organized by Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation and Vidarbha Chess Academy in association with G H Raisoni Sport & Cultural Foundation at Vivekananda Hall, Shri Mohini Complex.
The prize was distributed by hands of corporator Roopa Rai. Raisoni Group PRO Mrunal Naik, secretary, Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation Bhushan Shriwas, chief arbiter Pravin Pantawane, and assistant arbiter Amit Tembhurne.
Aashi secured highest 6.5 points in seven-round tournament to win the title. She was followed by Krishna Taori for second place whereas Aishita Chhabda finished third.
In the last round, Aashi and Aishita settled to a draw on the top board. On second board, Krishna Taori outwitted Yashwasi Bhonsale whereas Archana Kotwal defeated Vedika Pal.
Final ranking: 1. Dalal Aashi (6.5), 2. Krishna Taori (6), 3. Chhabda Aishita ( 5.5), 4.Kotwal Archana (5), 5.Bhosale Tejaswi (5), 6. Aastha Turankar (5), 7. Sole Swanandi  (5), 8. Junghare Avanti (4.5).
