With the development of any city comes the responsibility of managing the traffic in a much-organized form for the betterment of the people and also for the development of the city.
Nagpur Traffic Police are taking every step possible to maintain the traffic of the city. According to a recently released list of fatal deaths and accident cases registered in Orange City by Nagpur traffic Police, a drastic difference has been seen in the deaths trolls as compared to the previous years.
API Karande informed that we have been working around the clock to maintain the decorum of the traffic rules in the city so that the number of road accidents can be reduced. Citizens should be aware of the significance of road safety and also the consequence of breaking the rules.
A drastic difference has been recorded in the number of deaths occurred due to accidents. According to the given statistics 138 deaths were recorded in the year 2017, 154 fatal accidents were recorded up to August 18, 2018. While 148 deaths are recorded till August 18, 2019.
The accidents registered for the last three years are as follows

The table depicts that there is a decrease in the number of accidents recorded since August 2017. Although the number of accidents occurred in zone one which includes Hingna, Wadi, MIDC, Sonegaon, Pratap Nagar, Bajaj Nagar in August 2019 was 109, as compared to August 18 which was 86.
