Maha-Metro has completed the construction work of the Institute of Engineers Metro Station Reach-3 informed the officials at a press conference held for media at the station premises.
The station is located on NH-44 near the Institute of engineers and Indian Medical Association with an aim to provide a hassle-free transportation for the college students.
The design of the station is based on modern architecture in combination with elements that suit the climate of Nagpur. The North-South corridor is based on ‘Aqua Theme’. Maha-Metro has installed the solar panels on the roofs the station to generated green energy along with rainwater harvesting pits.
A special ticket counter is also proposed for children and differently-abled people have also been made for easy transportation.
Anil Kokate (Executive Director–Administration) informed that the work of the station has been completed and the doors of the station will be open by mid-September for commercial usage.
Arun Kumar (Executive Director–Reach 3), Girdhari Paunikar(Executive Director – Electrical), Jaiprakash Dehariya (Executive Director – Signal), Naresh Gurbani ( Executive Director – Track), Namdeo Rabade (CPM – OHE) where present in the meeting at Institute of Engineering Metro station.
