Nagpur MahaMetro will be starting its services on Aqua Line, Hingna Route , Reach 3 from Lokmanya Nagar to Sitabuldi  and Sitabuldi to Lokmanya Nagar from the first fort night of September. The three Metro trains for this route have already arrived in the city, which were brought by road ways by trucks from Chennai.
A trial run was held on this route (reach 3) on August 15, after which the remaining work of the station on this route was done with a boost. In total five metro trains have been build in China, in CRRC’s Dalian plant, after which the trains were brought to Chennai port and then these Metro Trains have already arrived in the city.
Along with this an additional rake has been brought on the Sitabuldi and Khapri route in an attempt to increase the number of trips during the peak hours. This will cut down the proportion of the passengers facing the issue of traffic in metro trains.
The Metro rakes have been brought from Chennai to Nagpur on August 17 through road ways and the coach assembling work has been completed in Hingna and Mihan depot.
