Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court dropped the decision of State government to appoint only those candidates who have completed their graduation and post graduation with atleast 50 % marks for them to be eligible to teach IX, X, XI and XII classes.
Thousands of aspiring teachers took a sigh of relief after the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court passed the statement. The hearing was conducted in the presence of Justice Ravi Deshpande and Vinay Joshi.
Sachin Surwade along with other candidates had a filed a petition in the high court against the orders of the state government, which was issued on February 07, 2019. The petitioners have passed their Teacher Eligibility Test.
