Shri Swetambar Jain Samaj Paschim, Congess Nagar, Nagpur is celebrating The Parvadhiraj Paryushan Parv in presence of Parampujya Ruchitakavarji Maharaj Saheab.
Paryushan Parv is celebrated to purify our soul. In Jain Darshan it is said that there are four (4) Gati’s [Narak gati; Tiryanch gati; Manushya (euq’;) gati; Dev gati]. It is said that Manushya gati is very precious and is very difficult to get this gati.
How do one get this gati? By doing (Tap, Aradhana, Gyan-Dhyan, Sadhana etc) are the ways to purify their atma (soul) and attain manushya bhav. Gurudev explained with a very good example, of how human birth is precious and rare like precious gemstones, Diamonds, Kesar, Kasturi are rare in universe. Human birth is also very precious. One should not way it off in Pramad (Loose time in worldly pleasures).
