The Maharashtra School Education Directorate has announced the schedule for Special Round 1 of the state’s centralised Class 11 (FYJC) online admission process for 2026-27, with the round now underway and seat allotment set for July 3.
The schedule was announced by School Education Commissioner Dr. Mahesh Palakar on June 25. Students who did not secure admission in earlier CAP rounds, or who wish to apply afresh, can fill Part-B preference forms from June 26, 3:00 pm until June 28, 11:59 pm. The allotment process will run from July 1 to July 3, with seat allotment results published on July 3 at 3:00 pm on the official portal.
Students allotted seats must visit their respective junior college in person between July 3, 4:00 pm and July 6, 6:00 pm to verify documents and pay fees to confirm admission. Junior colleges must complete server-level data processing by July 7, after which vacant seats from Special Round 1 will be published on the official portal at 3:00 pm on July 8.
For quota admissions — in-house, management and minority — students can apply online and lock preferences, with allotment running from June 27 to July 3.
Dr. Palakar has urged students to complete the process strictly within the schedule, warning that no waitlisting or extensions will be granted at any level after the deadline.
