The Regional Meteorological Center has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Vidarbha region in next 24 hours. City witness thunderstorm and lightning in the noon hours on Friday.
Dark clouds covered the city and heavy rain poured down in many region. even on Thursday city received a good rain for an hour after which many area in the city were submerged in water due to water logging problem.
As predicted, a fresh low-pressure area has formed in the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining area of Gangetic West Bengal and North Odisha. This is the sixth consecutive low-pressure area to form in August in quick succession. With this, Monsoon 2019 rain would once again revive over Central India, stated the weather portal.
According the weather forecast city will be receiving 60-75% rainfall and the temperature will be around minimum 25 degree Celsius to 32 degree Celsius throughout the day.
