The 53rd annual prize distribution function of Bankers’ Sports Council will be held on September 1 (Sunday) at Bank of India Staff Co-Operative Credit Society Hall, RPTS Road, Laxmi Nagar at 5 p.m.
Veteran Indian cricketer Salim Durani who has played in 29 Tests from 1960 to 1973 will be the chief guest on the occasion. An all-rounder, Durani was a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a left-handed batsman famous for his six-hitting prowess. He is the only Indian Test cricketer to have been born in Afghanistan.
Director (personnel) Western Coalfields Limited Dr  Sanjay Kumar will also grace the occasion with DGM of State Bank of India V Chandrasekhar, DGM of UCO Bank Ashok Telang, DSM of Bank of India Vilas Parate, DGM of Bank of Maharashtra Manoj Kare, DGM of Punjab National Bank Hemant Kulkarni and  DGM of Union Bank Sumer Singh.
