TheÂ 53rd annual prize distribution function of Bankers’ Sports CouncilÂ will be held on September 1 (Sunday) at Bank of India Staff Co-Operative Credit Society Hall, RPTS Road, Laxmi Nagar at 5 p.m.
Veteran Indian cricketer Salim Durani who hasÂ played in 29 Tests from 1960 to 1973 will be the chief guest on the occasion.Â An all-rounder, Durani was a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a left-handed batsman famous for his six-hitting prowess. He is the only Indian Test cricketer to have been born in Afghanistan.
