Nagpur’s Gondwana Club will organise the Late Shri Ramchandraji Mehadia Memorial Inter-Club Snicket Tournament 2026 from July 22, bringing together top cue sports players from leading clubs across the city.
Held in memory of Late Shri Ramchandraji Mehadia, the annual championship aims to promote snicket and provide a competitive platform for players representing various clubs. The tournament is expected to witness strong participation and closely contested matches.
The last date for submitting entries is July 20 (7 pm). The tournament will begin on July 22, with the inaugural ceremony scheduled at 7 pm. Gondwana Club president Jatin Kale will inaugurate the event in the presence of members of the club’s managing committee.
To encourage participants, Shreyas Mehadia has sponsored attractive trophies and cash prizes in memory of Late Shri Ramchandraji Mehadia, whose contribution to the promotion of cue sports continues to inspire the sporting community.
Organisers expect enthusiastic participation from the city’s premier clubs and believe the tournament will further strengthen the cue sports culture in Nagpur. Along with providing experienced players an opportunity to showcase their skills, the championship will also offer emerging cueists a chance to compete against seasoned players in a highly competitive environment.
With several quality players expected to take part, the tournament promises to be one of the major cue sports events on Nagpur’s sporting calendar.
