The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the online registration deadline for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for admissions to the five-year LLB programme for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates can now submit their applications until July 17.
The registration process commenced on June 19 and was initially scheduled to conclude on July 9. However, the CET Cell decided to grant additional time to applicants to complete the admission formalities. According to official figures, 19,923 candidates have completed their CAP registration so far. Students who appeared for the Five-Year LLB CET 2026 examination conducted on May 8 are eligible to participate in the admission process.
Applicants are required to upload a recent passport-size colour photograph and signature in JPG or JPEG format while filling out the online application form. They must also submit scanned copies of all required academic and supporting documents in PDF format as per the specifications mentioned on the official CET Cell portal.
This year, 29,288 candidates appeared for the Five-Year LLB CET examination and the results were announced on June 16. As of July 13, nearly 20,000 candidates had completed the CAP registration process.
The CET Cell has advised candidates to regularly check the official website for updates related to admissions, document verification schedules and other important instructions regarding the admission process.
